"Sow your resistance" 2024
This gathering took place from October 1 to 5, 2024.
The International Farmer Seeds Gathering were organized with the ambition of bringing together farmers, collectives, researchers, NGOs, political decision-makers, and engaged citizens. Through a collaborative approach, this event helped strengthen knowledge-sharing, raise public awareness, and promote concrete solutions for a more resilient and ecological agricultural future.

A festive atmosphere for all
The final day of the Gathering offered citizens an opportunity to meet practitioners from around the world and discover the issues related to cultivated biodiversity. This festive day had the dual objective of raising public awareness about the importance of farmer seeds and building connections between producers and consumers.
The rich and varied program captivated young and old alike: seed market, plant parade, interactive workshops, fascinating conferences, immersive exhibitions, film screenings, and artistic performances. A day dedicated to learning, sharing, and celebrating biodiversity.
A big thank you to all the co-organizers, partners, volunteers, participants, and visitors who helped make this International Farmer Seeds Gathering a memorable event!

A highly successful event

• On farms: 82 people hosted for 3 to 5 days on 13 French and Italian farms
• Peer-to-peer: in Antibes (Alpes-Maritimes, Espace du Fort Carré) – more than 400 participants
2 days, 18 technical workshops, 1 plenary session around 4 major talks
• General public: in Antibes (Alpes-Maritimes, Campus Vert) – more than 800 participants
1 day, 1 community forum, 26 stands, 8 workshops and talks, 6 artistic performances (show, choir, dance workshop, plant parade…), 4 exhibitions, 2 film screenings and 3 concerts
